The Westfrankelandsestraat is located in Schiedam-West, a neighbourhood with a mix of older buildings, a quiet and urban atmosphere. It’s a street with a recognisable, simple charm: a pleasant place to come home to, with plenty of amenities in the immediate vicinity.

Within a 5-minute walk, you’ll find a supermarket, a bakery and a few other local shops. For a wider range of stores and restaurants, it’s about a 7-minute bike ride to the city centre of Schiedam. In terms of accessibility, the location is very convenient. Troelstralaan metro station is about a 6-minute walk away. From there, you can take the metro directly to Rotterdam, or towards Spijkenisse and The Hague. Schiedam Centrum train station is within cycling distance — about 10 minutes — with connections to train, tram, metro and bus.

Layout of the apartment
You enter the home through your own private entrance and step directly into the hallway. On the right-hand side is the front room, a bright space thanks to large windows and an additional side window. This room can be arranged as desired, for example as a bedroom or living room. There is enough space for a bed, a sofa and a TV cabinet.

On the left side of the hallway is the combined shower and toilet. One door further, there is a separate space for the washing machine (which will remain in the property).

At the rear of the home is the kitchen, equipped with a hob, extractor hood and sink. There is space to install a dishwasher and oven, and enough room for a refrigerator.

Also at the back, you'll find a second room, larger than the one at the front. This room is also suitable as a living room or bedroom. Because of its length and the view of the garden, the space feels open and calm.

The garden itself offers plenty of greenery and possibilities. Although it requires some maintenance, it’s a pleasant outdoor space to enjoy in the future. The fences still need to be placed, which will make the garden slightly smaller, but there will still be enough space to sit outside or do some gardening.
