Verra to Manage Rentals and Property Management for Mutos City Apartments in The Hague

Transforming a historic building into luxury, sustainable apartments

The Billiton Building, formerly an office complex located at Louis Couperusplein 2 in The Hague, is being transformed into a residential building featuring 41 luxury rental apartments in the private sector. Developer Mutos City Apartments has entrusted Verra with both the rental and property management process.

Built in 1938 in the New Hague School architectural style, the building originally served as the headquarters of mining company Billiton. With this transformation, the historic 4,716 m² property will gain a new purpose as a residential location, preserving the character of the original design while incorporating modern sustainability principles. Nearly all apartments will achieve an A+++ energy label.

Mutos City Apartments has commissioned Verra to oversee the rental and property management of this unique transformation project.
