The Mariahoeve has a green core as the heart of the neighborhood. Here you can find a mix of single-family homes, low four-story apartment buildings and high apartment towers. Mariahoeve is a quiet neighborhood with lots of green spaces and a relaxed atmosphere. Most of the homes were designed in the New Hague School style, giving the neighborhood a stylish appearance. The shopping facilities here are located in a big indoor shopping area called Mariahoeve shopping center provided with very good parking facilities. Parking on the street is still free and you do not need a permit. The shopping center Mariahoeve features a wide range of shops for day-to-day necessities, including two large supermarkets and several specialty retailers. For a nice stroll, you can easily head to the Haagse Bos or the park forest Marlot. The major roads towards Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Utrecht are within easy reach. The center of The Hague and Scheveningen beach are perfectly accessible by bicycle or public transport.
