Overschie, situated in the northern part of Rotterdam, has a rich history dating back centuries; originally it was a separate village but became part of Rotterdam in the late 19th century. Overschie is well-connected in terms of transportation; it’s served by several major roads, including the A13 motorway, which runs through the district. The Rotterdam The Hague Airport is also nearby (5 min by bus), providing air travel options and Central Station (Rotterdam) is 10 minutes distance. The neighborhood is primarily residential but also has commercial areas providing amenities and services to its residents. You can find shops, restaurants, schools, and other facilities within the district.

Layout

Ground floor: through a long driveway and beautifully landscaped garden you arrive at the main entrance; first you enter a spacious, bright hall with a wonderfully tiled stone floor. Through the hall you have access to several rooms; let's start with the cozy living room: here you have a spacious sofa and reading chair where you can relax. Due to the delightful quadrangular bay window (with stained glass above it), plenty of natural light enters.
